Refund & Cancellation
At LinkX Technologies Private Limited, we prioritize fairness and transparency in all our user interactions. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances and procedures under which users may be eligible for a refund when using our mobile application (“App” or “Platform”).
By accessing or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
1. Definitions
For clarity, the following terms will apply throughout this policy:
App / Application: The mobile software developed and operated by LinkX Technologies, installed on a compatible device.
Company / We / Us / Our: Refers to LinkX Technologies Private Limited, registered in Uttarakhand, India.
User / You: Any individual, entity, or representative accessing and using our services.
Agent: A user who posts or initiates a booking request through the platform.
Driver: A user who accepts and proceeds with a booking request through the platform.
Device: Any internet-enabled hardware such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Cancellation: The action of terminating a booking request by either party before service commencement.
Refund: The partial or full return of money paid, as applicable under this policy.
2. Booking Cancellation and Refunds
Users (Agents or Drivers) may cancel a booking request in accordance with the following guidelines:
A. Cancellation Before Pickup Confirmation
If an Agent Cancels the Booking: If the agent cancels the booking before the driver marks the ride as "Picked Up" in the App, the entire amount paid by the driver (if any) will be refunded in full without any deductions.
If a Driver Cancels the Booking: If the driver cancels the booking before confirming pickup, a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the amount paid may be applied. The remaining balance, typically 30%–50%, will be distributed between the involved parties (agent and driver) based on the context and reason for cancellation, as determined by LinkX's discretion.
🚫 Once a ride is marked as "Picked Up" by either party, no cancellations or refunds will be entertained.
3. Important Notes
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed automatically to the driver’s original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
Any refund disputes or anomalies will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
LinkX Technologies reserves the right to modify or suspend refund eligibility in cases of misuse, fraud, or repeated cancellations.
4. Policy Updates
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. All changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after any changes implies acceptance of the updated terms.
